 The modern day busy schedule and the dangers of suntan have diverted the attention of the people towards the tanning industry that promises to give the same tanning as one gets from the sun while reducing the dangers associated with it. The discount tanning products include indoor tanning beds, tanning lamps for facial tan, tanning lotions, pills, and other sunless tanning products.

A. The tanning beds come in both commercial as well as domestic models. The commercial beds are meant for salons where professionals tan your skin. In home tanning beds, you do the task of self tan inside the tanning bed. Though the tanning beds create the same radiations that make the skin tan but the time of exposure controlled by the auto timers allows the required penetration only. The risk of getting extra amount of UVB rays if not there. Also, as you do it in private, you can go for topless tanning also.

B. The lotions have two functions to carry on. First, to give protection to your skin and secondly to enhance the tan. There are two kinds of tanning lotions- SPF formula lotions and DHA formula lotion. The former has sunscreen formula to protect the sunburn whereas the latter has tanning enhancement capability. The lotions moisturize the skin because moistured skin, tans better and at the same time supplies the nutrients to the skin.

C. The tanning pills are orally taken and they claim to give tan without exposure to the sun or the tanning lamps.

D. The spray tanning is an artificial method of tanning by mists sprayed from the sprinklers of the tanning booth. The colors tan the skin, giving it a natural look, but it slowly fades away within 10 days. This is a better option if you want it fast for certain functions or other reasons.
